About this activity
Very few operators on the Red Sea let you actually swim with your horse in open water; most riding tours stop at the beach. Wild Tide takes you further: a scenic desert and coastline trail ride, followed by a rare swim alongside your horse in the warm Red Sea.
Our horses are specially trained and comfortable in water, so the swim is calm, safe, and unforgettable. You'll ride through two landscapes in one trip, golden desert and turquoise coastline, in small groups (max 10), so guides can give you real attention.
Optional photos of your swimming moment are not included, not an upsell. Beginners get full guidance and a safety briefing, so no riding experience is needed. It's not just a horseback ride; it's one of the rarest, most photogenic experiences you can have in Egypt.
What you will do
Picture this: riding a well-trained horse across golden desert trails, with the Red Sea stretching out ahead of you. Then, the moment everyone's waiting for — your horse steps into the warm turquoise water, and you're swimming together in the open sea. This isn't just a horseback ride. It's one of the most unforgettable experiences you'll have in Egypt. Our "Wild Tide" experience takes you on a guided journey combining a scenic beach and desert trail ride with a rare, magical swim alongside your horse in the Red Sea. Whether you're a first-time rider or an experienced equestrian, our friendly, professional guides will make sure you feel safe and confident every step of the way. Our horses are healthy, well-cared-for, and used to the water, so the swimming portion is calm, controlled, and safe for all skill levels. We'll also capture photos of your swimming moment, so you leave with more than just a memory — you leave with proof of one of the best days of your trip.
