Aloha boasts a team of professional and friendly instructors who are passionate about surfing and dedicated to providing personalized guidance. We ensure that learners of all levels, from complete beginners to intermediate surfers, receive the right level of instruction and support.
The surf lessons at Aloha Paddle Club cover all the essential skills, including paddling techniques, wave reading, and balance. Our instructors also emphasize safety and ocean awareness, equipping learners with the knowledge they need to surf confidently.
Located right on the beautiful beaches of Playa del Carmen, Aloha Paddle Club provides an idyllic setting for learning to surf. We operate from Fusion Beach Bar Cuisine, offering you an authentic and cool beach experience.
What you will do
Introduction and Safety Briefing: Introduction of the instructor and students Explanation of the equipment and its proper use Safety briefing, including surfing and falling techniques, and guidelines for avoiding hazards On-Land Instruction: Overview of surfing technique, including proper stance, paddling, and wave selection Demonstration of proper body position and balance on the board Explanation of basic maneuvers, such as bottom turn and cutback On-Water Instruction: Practice of basic paddling technique and wave selection in small, manageable surf Introduction to “pop-up” technique and riding whitewater waves Discussion of etiquette and rules of the lineup Practice of basic maneuvers in small, manageable surf Conclusion: Recap of lesson highlights and key takeaways Discussion of next steps, including further lessons or independent practice Opportunity for Q&A and feedback

Our club is located at Fusion Beach Bar Cuisine on the beach with 6th street. When you arrive to the beach from 6th street you will find the entrance to Fusion on the left. Here you will be greeted by your guide, you can use the bathrooms to change and you can store your belongings.
