What you will do
Experience authentic sushi making with a master chef with 55 years of experience! Join us for a fun and interactive two-hour class led by the one and only Sato Sensei! Learn how to grate fresh wasabi, prepare sushi rice, and make traditional nigiri and maki sushi step by step. Sato Sensei’s friendly and humorous teaching style makes the class easy to follow and enjoyable for everyone. This is more than just a cooking class—it’s a cultural journey. Hear fascinating stories about fish, ingredients, and sushi traditions, while observing expert knife skills and techniques up close. Enjoy your freshly made sushi during the session, and take part in a relaxed Q&A with the chef at the end. The class is conducted in Japanese with a professional English-Japanese interpreter, so English speakers are fully supported. Private classes are available—feel free to message us for details! About the chef: Masafumi Sato spent 17 years as the right-hand man to the legendary “Sushi God” Kazuo Nagayama, serving distinguished guests with precision and artistry. He has led top restaurant kitchens and appeared widely in Japanese media. For full profile, see image.
